Jigga on “Most Fascinating..”
We told you Jay’s the new Diddy right? He’s just everywhere now that they’ve “re-discovered” Jay-Z. We’re happy to see one of rap’s great’s get this kind of attention.. the thing is he can really rap unlike Diddy.. Diddy was all flash… and we all love flash (and shiny suits)
But with money, comes problems….
The pro-wrestler suing Jay-Z for copyright infringement over his diamond hand sign was given permission by a federal judge to add the rap mogul’s Rocawear clothing line to his lawsuit.
Page is seeking an injunction (meaning Jay-Z would be prohibited from using the gesture) and unspecified monetary damages.Earlier this year, Page found out that Jay-Z’s Rocawear clothing line also displayed the diamond cutter symbol, which prompted the request that the label be a part of the lawsuit.
Page adopted the sign in 1996 to promote his persona for World Championship Wrestling.
This whole lawsuit is ridiculous.. Jay’s not the only one who throws that sign, everyone on Rocafella was throwing the diamond, how come it’s a problem now that Jay’s been in Forbes and not an issue when he was just in The Source? Please…
