The James Brown drama continues…
James Brown is still not buried, his body is @ his estate under 24/7 guard while his family continue to squabble over where to bury him, executing his will and performing DNA test’s on his son!
James Brown instructed his attorneys to carry out DNA tests to determine whether his wife’s son James Brown Ii was really his in the hours before he died on Christmas Day (25Dec06).
Family lawyer Debra Opri insisted the soul great wanted his kin to know the truth about the parentage of the five-year-old child his wife Tomi Rae Hynie always insisted was his - but refused to find out for himself while he was alive.
Opri says, “James Brown intentionally did not do any DNA testing of that child during his life. And there was a reason for it. “He uttered comments to his attorneys before he died and he said, ‘When I’m gone, get it done so my family knows…’ It’s an issue that’s going to be resolved very shortly.”

The body of James Brown has yet to be buried, his corpse is currently being housed in a sealed casket in his mansion in South Carolina at a controlled temperature and under watch from security guards. The house has been sealed off since hours after his death to prevent any of his personal items being lifted and ending up on eBay or the like. His marriage to Tomi Rae Hynie is also under question, as we reported earlier, she was married at the time her and James Brown got hitched!
On Entertainment Tonight She had this to say:
They bury him and don’t tell me; I read it in the paper the next day and when they find out in the news that I’m so upset about it, they get the body… and they exhumed it? Then they pulled it back out and put in the funeral home because they found out that I was angry that I wasn’t invited to them putting them in the ground until they’d built the mausoleum.
But, his body has not been buried, she might be crazy. Hynie claims Brown wanted to be laid to rest in a mausoleum on the grounds of his home in South Carolina.
