Papoose Speaks To SkinnyDipp.Com Exclusively about Sean Bell Killing
We spoke to Papoose yesterday about his response to the killing of an unarmed black man by the NYPD. Sean Bell was killed when 5 armed police officers opened fire on the unarmed Bell and his friends. Bell was due to be married that same day. Papoose accurately calls the act “savage” and shares his thoughts on how music can affect change. Hip Hop is powerful and proof of this is the attention his song attracted. He said it for all of us in the song, it’s time for the violence to stop!
