Lil Kim and Chris Rock @ CW Press Conference
We all know Chris Rock’s show “everybody Hates Chris” is a jewel in the CW line up.. but what’s news is Lil Kim is Executive Promoting a new show called “The Search For The Next Doll” which as the title states, is a search for the a new member for the “super group” The Pussy Cat Dolls.
The Show
A group of Pussycat Doll wannabes go through pop star boot camp while living together in Los Angeles. The finalists face judges including rapper Lil’ Kim while they compete to become the next Pussycat Doll. The last doll left standing at the end of the eight-episode competition becomes the seventh member of the Pussycat Dolls. She will sing and perform with the Dolls.
Now, all we want to know is how in the heck Lil Kim is connected to the Pussy Cat Doll and why they need a 7th member for a group known only for the lead singer. Most people only know her because she did a solo song with Diddy in fact! Judging from the fact that it’s on CW and the type of people/dancers they will be looking for, it will probably be just as funny as American Idol auditions without the boring weeks after the Idol auditions are over..

The Black and the Restless… Whitney, her habit, Ray J and his sex tape
When celebs have their own personal drama and then decide to date each other in the middle of it, it really makes things complicated.. so let’s try to break it down
Bobby marries Whitney and somewhere along the line in between court dates, baby mama drama and DUI’s, Whitney picks up a habit that won’t quit. Bobby get’s his show, get a little shine and leaves Whitney for Superhead. Superhead wasn’t down for the house-wife role and moves on to fresh meat( supposedly boxer Antonio Tarver ), Bobby looses his show while Whitney sells off Bobby’s awards in a garage sale. Meanwhile Ray J is somewhere making a sex tape with Nick Cannon’s future girl, Kim Kardashian. He allegedly left a message on her MySpace page talking about the sex tape after she dumped him. He’s salty and somehow out of the blue, the sex tape get “lost”. To make a long ( and entangled ) story short, Whitney and Ray J meet, and according to Janet Charlton this is where we are in the saga gets even more absurd…
Janet Charlton is reporting that the recent photographs showing Ray J and Whitney Houston, 43, leaving a restaurant together and jumping into a car indeed reflect a romantic relationship that began when they met for the first time a week after Thanksgiving. According to Charlton, the two have been living together ever since.
“She spent the holidays with Brandy Norwood and her family and Brandy’s mom formed a special friendship with Whitney,” Charlton wrote on her Web site. “The family is a good influence - Whitney is 100% sober. Since they started seeing each other Ray has spiffed up his look- he stopped wearing baggy hip hop clothes and started dressing in tailored suits, like a businessman. He looks older.
“Whitney spends all her time at Ray’s house or Brandy’s in Calabasas (the family has kind of adopted her.) Ray and Whitney are very cuddly and affectionate - they don’t go out in public much - sometimes they drive up to Santa Barbara and stay at the Bacara spa there.
“Ray is very excited about helping Whitney with her new comeback album. She’s paying more attention to Ray than she is Clive Davis and Clive is losing his influence. Whitney is described as a ‘whole new person.’ She’s happy and optimistic.”
A source close to the family confirms.. that the couple’s date this week “was not the first and will not be the last.”

Regina King’s getting her groove back ( sorta )
After filing for divorce Regina King feels free as a bird.. she recently opened up about her willingness to go nude if a new movie about African Queen Queen Nzingha were made ( starring her of course )!
Jerry Maguire star Regina King is considering baring all on the big screen to play 17th century African leader Queen Nzingha.
The actress has steered clear of movie nudity, but accepts she’ll have to give up her modesty if she is to portray her historical heroine.
She explains, “I really would love to, before it’s all over, play Queen Nzingha, and I think it would be hard to portray a real person during that time period and not show some nudity.
“(Nzingha’s) so powerful and I mean this woman fought the Portuguese during a time when women were not rulers. She was probably one of the first.” (c) WENN

Movie Watch: Black Snake Moan
In what looks like Hustle & Flow part two, Black Snake Moan starring Christina Ricci, Justin Timberlake, David Banner and Samuel L. Jackson hits theater’s Feb 23.
The makers of Hustle & Flow didn’t reach too far when they made their new film Black Snake Moan. Hustle was about a black man dominating a white woman… and yes you guessed it from the movie poster, Black Snake Moan is ALSO about a black man dominating a white woman. Who said movies were formulaic?
